The color is sparkling ruby. The aromas of Alexandrouli and Mujuretuli mix is very present. Khvanchkara is full of berries such as: wild strawberry, blueberry, mountain raspberry and garden currant. Light-bodied and energetic wine. The aftertaste is lingering with ripe berries. Paired with slightly roasted steaks, cheese and cakes. The former name of the wine was Kipiani (named after the wine producers Levan and Dmitriy Kipiani), however, it is believed that in 1932 it was requested to change the name to Khvanchkara, which is the name of the village in which the wine was produced.
